This all translates to one important point: Mexican food is here to stay! Buena Onda is excited to make our mark on the fast-casual industry. There are very few national brands in this space which creates the perfect opening and position for our taco and burrito franchise.
Roughly 53% of Mexican restaurants are considered Full-Service Restaurants (FSR). Quick-Service Restaurants (QSR), like Buena Onda, are increasing in number and creating great growth potential in this space. Our taco franchise is one of the few national brands in our category that has partnered with a James Beard Award-winning Iron Chef. Our use of commissary kitchens allows us to provide fresh food of a quality not often found in fast-casual restaurants, yet it also allows our owners to keep overhead costs down by eliminating the need for large kitchens and sophisticated chefs.
